How Taken
Your doctor may prescribe you start taking Glucophage with either 500mg or 850mg twice a day with gradual increasing of the dose, by 500mg or 850mg daily with the maximum of 2550mg dose per day that should be distributed between three takings.

The mechanisms of the drug are based on stimulation of glucose inhibiting by fat and muscle tissues of the organism making them more sensitive to the effects of insulin, the hormone responsible for the blood sugar uptake.
